CGEE holds a technical-scientific event about its history and contributions to science, technology, and innovation.

A special session, on September 21st, will bring together leaders from the science, technology, and innovation ecosystem to reflect on the role of science in formulating public policies and making strategic decisions for the country.

The Center for Management and Strategic Studies (CGEE) will hold a Special Session on September 21st at its headquarters in Brasília (DF), at 3 pm, to commemorate its 25 years of activity. The technical-scientific meeting, which will be broadcast live throughout the country, will bring together specialists, academic leaders, and managers to discuss the Center's trajectory and the contribution of strategic studies and intelligence generation to Brazil's development.

The opening of the program will be led by the CEO of CGEE, Anderson Gomes, and the coordinator of the Organizing Committee for the institution's 25th anniversary celebrations, Fernando Rizzo. The event's central objective is to take advantage of the historic milestone of the silver jubilee to reflect on the role of Science, Technology and Innovation (ST&I) in the formulation of public policies and in strategic decision-making in the country.

The first part of the program will feature speeches from representatives and leaders of institutions within the national scientific ecosystem. Confirmed participants include Lúcia Melo, member of the CGEE Board of Directors; Helena Nader, president of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC); Denise Carvalho, president of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES); Francilene Garcia, president of the Brazilian Society for the Advancement of Science (SBPC); and Connie McManus, director of CGEE.

The program includes the inauguration of the Gallery of Presidents of CGEE and the Presidents of the institution's Board of Directors, in the Evando Mirra Room. The tribute seeks to preserve institutional memory and recognize the contribution of the leaders who helped consolidate and strengthen the Center's work throughout its two and a half decades of history.
