The Opportunities Radar detects R$ 91 million in resources from 10 national and state calls for proposals in Amapá and Amazonas.

The publication presents a survey of current calls for proposals and programs that address strategic themes such as bioeconomy, sustainability, technological innovation, and social inclusion.

In its second edition, the Opportunities Radar – Science, Technology & Innovation for the Amazon presents initiatives to promote science, technology, and innovation in the nine states that make up the Legal Amazon region during March and April. For this period, the Radar identified 10 calls for proposals, including national and state funding in Acre, Amapá, and Amazonas, which currently enable approximately R$ 91 million in funding, scholarships, capital support, operating costs, and other related actions.

The strategic initiative was developed within the scope of the Science, Technology and Innovation Subsidies for the Amazon Project with the objective of organizing, systematizing and giving visibility to the main funding opportunities in Science, Technology and Innovation focused on the Legal Amazon and supporting evidence-based public policies. The project is a demand of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), the National Council of Secretaries for Science, Technology and Innovation Affairs (Consecti), the National Council of State Foundations for Research Support (Confap) and coordinated by the Center for Management and Strategic Studies (CGEE).

Platform - To stay up-to-date on Science, Technology & Innovation (ST&I) news in the Legal Amazon, those interested can access the ST&I platform for the Amazon.
