Reunião contou com a presença de representantes do CGEE e do MRE para articular Projeto da Diplomacia da Inovação
The Center for Management and Strategic Studies (CGEE) participated in the first meeting with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) to align expectations regarding the Innovation Diplomacy Project: scientific evidence for Brazil's international insertion. The meeting was held at the Itamaraty Palace in Brasília (DF).
The project foresees studies and scientific evidence to support the improvement, monitoring, and evaluation of the Innovation Diplomacy Program (PDI). The initiative, to be developed by CGEE in partnership with Itamaraty, proposes a methodological and articulation strategy aimed at generating technical subsidies that strengthen Brazilian technological foreign policy, enhance the global competitiveness of the National Innovation System, and identify new opportunities for internationalization.
On that occasion, CGEE was represented by its director, Caetano Penna, and its project leader, Caroline Pereira. Also present from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were: Eugênio Vargas Garcia, Marcelo Salomão Martinez, Rafael Della Giustina Leal, Pedro Ivo Ferraz da Silva, Igor Flávio de Aguiar Germano, Marina Lacerda Machado Neves, and Luiza Valladares de Gouvêa.

Some examples of actions that can be carried out within the project are: mapping of environments that promote innovation abroad ; market and technology studies ; startup missions; cross-incubation programs; media campaigns; and matchmaking opportunities (the process of connecting two or more parties with complementary interests, facilitating partnerships, business deals, or strategic collaborations) .
