CGEE na mídia

Superlive broadcast of 'Projeto Brasil' this Thursday discusses the national strategy for Science and Technology.

Industry leaders, such as Francilene Garcia (president of SBPC) and Luis Fernandes (executive secretary of MCTI), are discussing how the country can expand integration between universities, companies, and government in the new National Science and Technology Strategy. CGEE will be represented in the debate by its CEO, Fernando Rizzo, and director Anderson Gomes.

This Thursday, October 9th, at 6 PM, the TVGGN channel on YouTube will broadcast a special seminar from Projeto Brasil , bringing together some of the most influential names in innovation policy to discuss the future of the national Science and Technology strategy. Projeto Brasil is a platform for disseminating scientific knowledge and discussing public policies to boost the country's development, launched in 2025.

The debate takes place at a crucial moment, in which Brazil seeks to strengthen its international position and expand integration between universities, businesses, and government. The discussion will be moderated by journalist Luís Nassif , who will lead the conversation between:

  • Francilene Procópio Garcia , president of the Brazilian Society for the Advancement of Science (SBPC) — the first woman from the Northeast of Brazil to lead the largest scientific organization in Latin America.
  • Luis Fernandes , executive secretary of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) ;
  • Sérgio Rezende , physicist, professor, and former Minister of Science and Technology in Lula's second government;
  • Anderson Gomes , director of the Center for Management and Strategic Studies (CGEE) and vice-president of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences for the Northeast and Espírito Santo;
  • Fernando Rizzo , engineer, academic, CEO of CGEE and former director of the National Institute of Technology (INT/MCTI)
  • Renato Janine , professor, former Minister of Education and former president of SBPC ;
  • Luiz Davidovich, physicist, professor emeritus at UFRJ and former president of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC).

The expectation is that the meeting will go beyond current analysis, providing diagnoses and pointing to concrete paths to consolidate a national Science, Technology and Innovation (ST&I) policy that is up to global challenges.
