The Brazil AI & High-Performance Computing Forum places Brazil at the center of the debate on digital sovereignty, advanced infrastructure, and innovation in AI.

The initiative seeks to consolidate an environment of convergence between national strategy, technological innovation, and industrial development, contributing to positioning Brazil in a sovereign and leading role on the global AI stage.

Between May 11th and 14th, the Brazil AI & HPC Forum will take place, an initiative carried out by the Center for Management and Strategic Studies (CGEE), the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), in conjunction with the ELDORADO Institute and other organizing institutions. The meeting will bring together representatives from the federal government, funding agencies, research centers, industry, and national and international experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High-Performance Computing (HPC).

In a global scenario marked by the technological race and the growing relevance of digital sovereignty, the forum proposes a structuring debate on Brazil's capacity to develop advanced computing infrastructure, accelerate the adoption of AI in strategic production chains, and strengthen the integration between science, industry, and public policies.

The initiative is aligned with the guidelines of the Brazilian Artificial Intelligence Plan (PBIA) and global discussions on technological autonomy, computer security, and industrial competitiveness. The event also addresses the need to expand and specialize the national capacity for data processing and storage, an element considered essential for scientific advancement, economic development, and Brazil's international integration in technology-intensive sectors.

Throughout the program, topics such as critical infrastructure for AI, exascale computing, international models of technological cooperation, innovation funding, advanced AI applications in industry and science, and the role of national high-performance computing networks in building a resilient and sustainable technological ecosystem will be discussed.

The meeting will also highlight the importance of collaboration between government, research centers, and the productive sector to transform scientific capacity into concrete applications with economic and social impact.

In this context, the National High-Performance Computing System (SINAPAD) stands out as one of the structuring bases for expanding Brazilian computing capacity and supporting highly complex research and solutions in different areas of knowledge and industry.

More than just a space for technical discussion, the Brazil AI & HPC Forum seeks to consolidate an environment of convergence between national strategy, technological innovation, and industrial development, contributing to positioning Brazil in a sovereign and leading role in the global scenario of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Computing.
